Juna Kim
26 Apr – 11 Mar 2025

Roha Gallery is pleased to present Fragmented Reflections, the first UK solo exhibition by London-based artist Juna Kim.
Kim’s paintings, created using acrylic, conte, and coloured pencil, depict everyday life through fragmented, dreamlike scenes. Her works feature figures in quiet moments of leisure and introspection, exploring themes of joy, loss, love, and memory. Drawing on both real and imagined experiences, she creates spaces that feel simultaneously familiar and distant.
Rather than presenting complete narratives, Kim’s work reflects how memories form in fragments—shaped by time, emotion, and shifting perspectives. Her figures often appear with multiple aspects of themselves, expressing the complexity and uncertainty of identity. Through these layered images, the exhibition offers a quiet, contemplative look at how we perceive ourselves and the past.
Juna Kim studied Fine Art Painting at Hongik University (BFA/MFA) and completed an MA in Painting at the Royal College of Art in 2023/24. Her practice draws on her cultural background and the environments she has lived in, combining drawing, collage, and photography to create works that blur the boundaries between reality and imagination.
